Q: What kind of apples do you use for your caramel apples?
A: We use fresh, tart extra-large sized Granny Smith apples. Caramel Apples will be available again in late July to early August through December. The best time is in September and October. October, 2005 we sold over 4,500 apples. WOW!
Q: Can you tell me whether or not your fudge contains gluten?
A: Thanks for the great question. I am happy to tell you that our basic fudge ingredients are gluten free. We do use a water based vanilla, rather than an alcohol based vanilla. However, there are a few flavors that would contain gluten. These flavors would include any of the ones containing cookie, cracker or cake products, such as: Cookie Dough, Cinnamon Crumb Cake, Nilla Berry Fluff, S'Mores, Caramel Coconut Delight, Fudge Brownie and Strawberry Shortcake. Our fudge does contain butter, cream, and may contain peanut butter and other nut products. Individual ingredient lists are available upon request.
